  •  Founder of Sikhism

Guru Angad

  •   Adopted and formalized the Gurmukhi alphabet.

Guru Amar Das

  •   Third Sikh Guru

Guru Ram Das

  •   Fourth Sikh Guru
  •   Laid foundation stone for Golden Temple, Amristar

Guru Arjun Dev

  •   Fifth Sikh Guru
  •   Completed the construction of Golden Temple, Amristar
  •   Note:  First Granthi of Golden Temple: Baba Buddha
  •  Compiled the first official edition of the Sikh scripture-Adi Granth/ Granth Sahib.
  •  First Martyr of Sikh Religion. Killed by Jahangir in 1606

Guru Har Krishan

  •   Also known as Bal Guru”
  •   The Youngest Guru in Sikhism (At the age of 5)
  •   Affected by smallpox in 1664 and died before reaching his eighth birthday.

Guru Tegh Bahadur

  •   Ninth Sikh Guru
  •   Was Executed on the orders of Aurangzeb
  •   Second Martyr of Sikh Religion.
  •   His martyrdom is remembered as the Shaheedi Divas of Guru Tegh Bahadur every year on 24th  November, according to the Nanakshhi Calendar.

Guru Gobind Singh

  • Tenth Sikh Guru
  •  Final human Sikh Guru 
  •  Founder of  Sikh warrior community called Khalsa in 1699
  •  He is the one who finalized and enshrined the Guru Granth Sahib as Sikhism's primary scripture and eternal Guru.
